chuck it on a dyno and pay a reputable workshop to give it a once over

I'd rather explore every simple and relatively cheap solution first before spending $85 to do a dyno, and even then I will have to wait up to 2 weeks before they can do it.

I think you would hear it if it was a boost leak. I would definitely give your boost solenoid a spray. I just did mine not even 8000km from when I last did it and I certainly noticed a difference.

yeah, kids these days just max out their financial obligations and mostly they have no money left. I remember this apprentice back in 2001, had this newish Clubsport and never had any money.
