My BOV which is a stock OEM lets boost out at idle and low rpms. Is this normal?

I just had to replace mine as it wasnt holding boost. I think they are only rated to 12 psi or something anyway? mine held 20 ok for quite a while though...

You wouldn't normally have boost at idle. Is it leaking air at idle?

The Chinese 1 seems to have a spring which is a bit to tough and now at low boost deceleration the turbo is making that anoying flutter sound. (very light throttle) But works when open so I guess it couldnt be doing too much damage. I hope
