I thought it might be a good idea to put some better rods and pistons in to handle the rest of the mods, don't know what it's running power wise but I would say a fair bit it's running the 16psi tune, might get new cams aswell. You need to have it bored to suit the pistons and while your there skim the block back flat ready for your skimmed head and new head gasket. And with rods it's best to balance up the rotating system. Need to get the rods fitted to your pistons as well. As for brands. Spool make a solid rod for a cheap price. Pistons is how far your budget allows. Ross is a strong cheap option or cp, or mahle, or a set of tbre customs is a nice piston. Don't forget oil pump gears, atomic timing chain, lower sprocket, tensioner, new guides, arp head studs, main studs while your there.

Yeah they're pretty cheap. Did you buy a new motor? What are you doing for bearings etc?

I'm going to get bearings aswell.
