Yeh it probably is a bit big for the area but it really does what I was after when looking along the lines of the soundbar path where I wanted louder but not noisier from the TV and then the ability to have the music channel going and wind it up a bit without it struggling and sounding terrible.

I think the sonos would of cut the mustard but when we did start lookig at "bigger" systems the quality and look definitely was there I suppose but it's so easy to spend 5k getting what you need vs what you want and I would say all you Audio blokes would agree with your already big systems

Im glad the old boy got both subs as it's nicer to have that balanced aesthetics going on, I remember him unpacking everything when he bought it and he lasted about 10minuites before he took off to get the second sub as he had it similarly set up in their home theatre room.

loving the sound from a big system that's just ticking over because when you turn it up you can tell it's barely working but the sound fills the room amazingly :)

Put mine both ends of the couch
Works ok, but thinking they need to be on stands so they are head height.

yep def need to be on stands!! mine are on stands at least.

this is the downside of having a small unit. no separate family room or lounge room to set up properly. also the downside of being a poor mofo.
