Yes but it wont be a dedicated theatre room more like a second TV room now. It will also be used for normal TV/foxtel and my sons gaming.

The Sonos will fit will for what we will use it for and the time we watch a movie the sound will still be great.

In a couple months you have a blank canvas, a frame of a building .... An opportunity to run any audio cables anywhere with no issues

And your choosing a wireless sound bar

Actually Pix, I gotta side with Fluff on this! If I was building from scratch I'd be running a sh*te load of cables and doing it properly.

So this would have been many moons ago, but well worth the waiting and saving up.

took me a good year and bit to save up for. I also bought it in stages.

I got my gear from west coast hifi as I knew someone there that gave me good pricing.

I did try simple audio systems at home, but they were a waste of money.

I have had this for over 7 years now and still going strong.

I got this as my amp. It was between the denom, Harmie and Yamaha.

Yamaha RX2700 won. ;)

And I paired it up with these puppies (B&W 683)

But the colour is more along the lines of this(these are a different model)

I have had damage to the center speaker due to my kids, but the damage has not stopped it from working

Finally, I got these shelf speakers as the rear speakers (685)

You all thinking about the sub now aren't you?

To be honest, I do have a sub, but I hardly ever use it. the floor standing 683 have amazing bass already.

I doubt I will need to upgrade any time soon and most people are blown away at how loud they go.

I could be the neighbor from hell if I wanted to, but I don't normally have the sound blasting away due to the windows.

I enjoy the quality in comparison to things like sound bar.

I had my father in law over previously and the first thing he said was:

Why doesn't my sound bar sound like this...................

hmmm I wonder why?
