Yeah that's fair enough. I like the FPV badge because it's silver but I wouldn't put one on an xr6 turbo because it's not an FPV.

Take the badge off and remove the blue and silver and repaint the inside of the badge. Mate did it when he painting his xf the same color as the xr5 orange. Did it orange writing with black back ground. Also had a mate make the blue background yellow for his rs2000

End of the day it is your car....so do what you want. At least by asking you'll know what some people are saying/thinking when they drive past you

I bought a set of badges to do exactly this, couple years ago. Never got around to it.

You can buy coloured badges off ebay though

I was going to go black with silver writing but the blue is already so dark on the Falcons...I guess in direct sun it would be noticeable

Yeah you always need to be understated with stuff like that unless you're in the top 10% or so! Or you look silly when you lose.
