No,its tight but you can remove the two bolts from the sump to the timing cover and gently walk the cover off. But you need a new u seal for the sump and you probably need a puller for the balancer

Ok got the puller for the balancer :)

How do you go about pressing the balancer back on? Cant hit it on and I was told not to use the bolt to drive it on.

Clean the spindle splines really well and clean the balancer as well then use some inox spray

Lightly tap it with a rubber mallet and it will go all the way home with ease if the parts are well cleaned and lubricated

The bolt might take up the last mm or two no stress
