the lad is about to tune his stock-as-a-rock ba xr6t. wants about 250 consistant rwkw.

whats the best cooler for sub 1k? if any at all? he bought a ba f6 cooler last year. is it best to stick with that? or maybe an fg f6 cooler- they look reasonably larger?

or should he not bother till he can affort 2k for a pw?

cheers

I'll say what I say to everyone

What's the end goal for the car ?

This determines everything

Is there ever really an end goal?

Usually it's just economic realities that stop you. hahaha

end goal is 350rwkw consistantly. he simply doesnt have budget for that atm, but for now he's after 250rwkw all day all year. that's a sensible achievable goal that will keep him happy for a while I reckon.

In all honesty scotty stay with what he's already bought as that F6 cooler will take all of his other stock hardware to its limits

So get away with having to spend bugger all first up then have that massive hurdle to jump in one shot later

230/40/50 rwkw now for chump change then big bucks and 350 in one jump later

Typically I always insist on buying parts to support the end goal so your only spending once but imho keep and cash you intend on spending on an entry level cooler now for the end goal budget and work what you currently have ;)

It happens way more than you think, some people want 300 and are 100% satisfied with that and don't look forward ever

Some want 350 and are happy

Then there's the rest of us hey lol ..... Stock to infinity and beyond
