My housemates friend works for garrett so getting near cost, hence my decision for garrett. I live in WA and will be getting my work done by Rami at proform performance. He opened his workshop this year and knows his stuff. Will be the first fg with this sort of power or higher hes done but I trust him 100%. Low overheads, good quotes and if he cant get the tune right ill be going to monsta torque for the tune which he is more than happy with. Whats your thoughys on flash tuners? Are they a needed or just a luxury?

No offence to the bloke your going to see, but I'm glad to hear that if you guys can't quite get things right you'll be going to Monsta Torque for a tune... These things aren't like a modded V8 commo, it's easy to wreck sh*t.

Flash tuner is essential for the Falcons yes. Monsta torque might only tune with xcal software so you may want to ask em. guessing your mate probably wouldn't have the xcal software/license?

Otherwise you might end up buying two flash tuners if your mate can't pull it off...

The tuning software is hptuners

Flash tuners like sct xcals are good if you want to regulary alternate between tunes and I had one years ago,but generally you will find most people load their favourate tune in and the xcal ends. up in the glovebox or as a desk ornament.

HP tuners will be cheaper as you wont need an xcal box to load the tune.
