Need to change catalytic on stock twin, sounding sh*t-house when cold. Is it a must to have it tuned if changing it? An exhaust guy in rowville thinks hes had no issues changing the cat on other ba turbs but I beg to differ.Changing from a 400c (factory) to 200c would make some difference I would think but how much? Can't have it boosting over 10psi yet, turbo has play. Excuse any ignorance, dont know sh*t about mechanics. I'll let you know... Mind you it just started to rain so WOT testing might be difficult.

They are just off Burwood Hwy. They'll have second hand ones that will bolt straight on.

I'll let you know after a week once I've treated it nicely for a few hundred km and then found a dry road.

I did with a mk2 fg cat with no restrictor ring and plaz 800hp intercooler kit without a tune and it was fine. That cat was probably more restrictive than a 100 cell though

No over boost issues when flat chat. Other than the cat, everything else is stock... Except for the Fairlane interior door handles. Anyone know if I need a tune for those?
