Hey guys, I've got a 2011 FG ute and I'm looking at lowering it. Just wanting a bit of advice so I don't go breaking anything lol... How many springs and WHICH ones should I flip to make my ute sit roughly 120 - 130mm off the ground? Any answers would be awesome. Sick of it being standard height. Also, I've chopped my over ride springs, and wedged them up above the leafs. Is that gunna be an issue?

Best to get new lower springs and shocks to suit the height you want. Can get the leafs reset to save a bit.

I think what they are trying to say is lower it properly at a suspension joint, I don't know utes but I know shortcuts on sedans like chopping springs reduces the handling and safety of the car when under emergency manoeuvres. Utes are sketchy enough as is from what I've read.
