Ok so my GTX3582R didn't have a boost nipple for the wastegate solenoid. My brother (who thinks he is handy) is recommending against tapping the housing and wants to tap into the jpipe (or whatever you call it, the first bend off the turbo hotside). Do you guys see any problem with not coming directly off the housing, the housing doesn't seem to have a reinforced spot for it?

Is that it near the actuator. Need someone with a 82 to chime in. Munes a 76 but thought the cast would be tge same just bigger?

Pretty sure vpw sell a nipple that is made to fit in a silicone joiner.

It will also be less turbulent not being in the comp cover.

Yeah thanks I'll look into it. My brother can weld on a bung too but a nipple in the elbow silicone joiner may be easier.

I'm worried about weakening the front housing as there is no thick spot to mount it.

Hey can I put the turbo on without taking the exhaust manifold off or without disassembling the turbo. It looks too tight to me
