But without a converter who would win on my mods

I meant a converter would help the 82 with feeling more responsive, pretty certain it still has it over the 76 without a converter at the strip.

Apart from the intial spool it goes harder. But that's the exact reason the 76 is a weapon on the street, standing start and how often do you race for 400m to vehicle confiscating speeds lol?

A manual gtx 76 vs 82 would be an interesting comparison though, the tables may even turn I dunno

Ok so I ordered the 82 from pac.

Regarding getting the car to the shop to get it tuned and installed, given the turbo only just spins, is it ok to drive 30km to my tuner. Should I somehow open the waste gate to take pressure off the turbine? Or should I get a tow truck.

Ok so turbo finally arrived from Pac. Only took two weeks! Anyway regarding feedback on whether to go with GCG or Pacperformance, despite Pac telling me "we sell our shoes with shoe laces", it only comes with one gasket for the coolant line and one for where it connects to the manifold. GCG on the other hand gives you Exhaust studs, crush washers, locking nuts for the dump pipe, and a complete turbocharger gasket kit. This is all for the same price of $2750 "bolt on".

Neither seem to come with the Boost nipple. I would have thought it would be in the kit if not already installed.

So I should have gone with GCG for a bolt on.

Anyway, what are peoples thoughts on whether I need new studs, others gaskets etc.... PAC has suggested I can reuse what I have. I know I can anneal the crush washers.

Id want fresh parts to make it all right. Why skimp now and more than likely need to rip it apart again later?

Gaskets amd nuts def, I always used to recommend doing studs too for piece of mind.
