Ambient Air Temperature Sensor? For Engine, Not Icc

Anybody know the location of the ambient air temp sensor (if it even exists)? I'm talking about an engine bay one, not the ICC sensor in the passenger mirror. Most cars have one in front of the radiator.

Mine appears to be stuffed it always reads low (10deg lower than real temp) and the value hardly moves. In reality it should be slightly higher than real temp

I have confirmed the temp reading with the snap-on solus ultra scan tool and with the Torque app.

Right now the outside temp on the ICC reads 27 which is correct but the ambient temp in both scan tools are reading 18. It's not cabin temperature I tested that by cranking the heater.

On an early morning when ICC temp is 13-15 deg (and rising) and IAT around 28, the ambient air temp reads around 9-12deg. The value doesn't really change while driving.

I've attached some pics, the car has been sitting unrunning around 40min outside so that's why IAT is high.

The Engine intake temps is incorporated with the MAP sensor making it the T-MAP

This is under the T/B

The normal ambient temp senson for a FG is in the pass mirror

The readings the snap on is giving you is correct for a long hot idle
