They look fine to me. And those parts are called saddle mount bushings.

Maybe he means the rear bump stops. They are sometimes called buffers. Although I can see one bump stop is intact

In the last pic it doesnt look like the bottom one is quite seated right compard to the top

I would talk to your mechanic before changing anything . Leaf springs also have an insulating rubber between the leaves to allow them to slide as the spring compresses . post-72948-144262559428_thumb.jpg
