No noise under load though. During last service Hidden Valley Ford (Darwin) said the rubber cushioning in the tailshaft was cracking but they failed to hear the noise (comes and goes when I'm driving around), they also mentioned that would require the whole tailshaft to be replaced at a cost approx $1900 plus labor.Does anyone know of a good aftermarket driveline guy. Doesn't matter where, I can get it delivered. I've sent an email to Mal Wood in Warwick but any other suggestions would be great.

As soon as you put any load on it stops. And every now and then it'll disappear too, usually when trying to get a mechanic to hear it. It also exacerbates when turning right and quiets down turning left. Edited 05/09/15 07:29 AM by Glen82
