Hi Everyone,

I have a 2010 F6 with the 6 speed ZF auto. I have that common problem of the 'lurch' when coming to a stop (second to first gear). I have read on this forum site that there is a 'firmware' fix, however I have spoken to a local ford dealership in Sydney and they said go to ZF. So I rang ZF and they said go to ford!

I am wondering if anyone has successful fixed the lurch problem with the firmware update, and if so where can I get it done? I am located in Sydney and I am happy to travel anywhere in Sydney to try and get this fixed.

Thanks in advance,

Tim

Best bet is probably a custom ZF tune by a competent workshop in your area.

Edit - get a custom engine tune while you're at it :)

Edit2 - and ID1000 injectors :)

I had mine fixed by a ZF tech, but was booked through ford and I had to leave my car with them for the day until the zf tech with his laptop turned up, then drove it, updated it. this was back in 2010.
