Plant it and spin into third in a straight line driving with your knees. Easy as. Haven't had a go in dons car yet with a true trac but if I did I would probably be drift king by the end off the night. I prefer a mechanical LSD cause of the predictability. As Bizkets said, no hands and it stays straight. Are the Eatons or these worm drives that unpredicatable. I have never tried one, if its harder to keep the worm drive LSDs straight or predictable then that is a bit of a worry.Maybe guys who have had both can chime in.

Mine quite often needs a bit of steering to get it straight.. does that mean it's not locking properly or something?

Predictability is the major difference between an LSD and a Locker which is pretty much what a trutrac is. Same wheel speed either side means its far more likely to do what you want it to do or act in a predictable way according to road surface, camber or tyre loading. Clutch type LSD's tend to have a mind f their own particularly when worn, when new and shimmed nice and tight they are OK.Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I just swapped the oil out so I'll have a bit of a play in the next few days to see if new dyno juice makes a difference Edited 25/08/15 08:39 AM by BenDoCo
