Mate you need to see if this works looks like it would be very beneficial to a lot of people using this sort of software.

Anything is doable, it is just a matter of how long it takes and much it costs. For example the nistunes guys did it on nissan ECUs by installing a daughter board in the PCM that allows it write the flash whilst the ECU is running meaning you can read/write the maps whilst the car is running. It requires a physical daughter board due to the lack of memory in the oldschool processor, if they had a new PCM they could probably do what I'm thinking of doing.

Should be a bit of fun, need to find a good programmer/debugger for the power pc. I wonder if the PCM has the programming headers on the PCB still.

Live tuning is soo much easier... Would be absolutely amazing for this to be available on our cars

One of the many reasons why I went to a Haltech. Live tuning is the BOMB!!

So going to add this here since it goes with diy tuning on my car.

Has anyone flowed there brand new injectors before installing them? Flowed my new set of 2200cc injectors yesterday to get a baseline for when they block up next time and came up with quite a bit of difference for what are meant to be "flow matched".

6 on the left are 2200cc 2 on the very right that can only just see are 800cc.

This isn't only this brand of injectors, have flowed even a brand new set of Injector dynamics 1000 that weren't 1% off like claimed. Also swapped injectors around in the tester rail with little change.

So thought I would update this. I went and re flowed these before I fitted them as with multiple injectors of such large size pulsing at once the rail pres was fluctuating a lot I wasn't sure it was accurate enough. Splitting them up and flowing them 1 by 1 had them flowing dead even. Surprised me how easy they were to get the car to start with 98 pulp in the tank. Thinking in going to build my own inj flow bench with my link ecu and do some testing of flow with them at extra low pulse width and see when they go non linear.
