I haven't done it yet but didn't think it would be too hard :/ I would assume one of those weird twist type socket and when you pull it out the globe would be attached to the wiring (or am I just making this up hahaha). The globe mount was a bayonet fit so it had to be twisted 90 degrees either way for it to release. A bit tight but it came out. Then replaced the globe.
