Hi All,

Hoping you guys can shed some light on this.

I have a 2014 FPV F6, have had it from new, and its just kicked over 20,000Ks

Car is stock other than an XR8 Snorkel and lower airbox.

Went to a Dyno night on Friday, and got a real low reading, 201.9KW at the wheels.

That might be ok for a stock LS1, but think this is extremely low for the F6.

Car still feels as quick as it did when I got it, still pulls like a freight train.

Besides going to get a tune etc, what does everyone think is wrong here?

Hey mate don't get to caught up in paper numbers but this might shed some weird light on your situation

First thing, there a harsh reading dyno

Second, it was run in third, should of been 4th but third will actually read higher so don't get to hurt there lol

Third, no one knows the correction factor that "had" been added could of been a -40rwkw factor hahaha

Some of the obvious things like a boost leak not letting the engine see full boost is possible with array of many things

You have a piece of laper telling u how the car was running at the time ( assuming the opperator was doing the correct things ) typically a FGF6 should be close to 240-250rwkw stock

Maybe have a look at the easy things like boost levels and go from there ;)

Most FG F6's usually run around 270 rwkw stock, also the NM was up in the 700's which is way more than standard, I would suggest the dyno wasn't set up correctly.

I'm dyslexic and cannot turn off simple functions in tapatalk
