how close are you to the control blade and bolts? have you already done the spacing mod plate thingy?

It still looks so flush in the pic...was expecting poke city (or maybe they space out once tyres are on and weight is applied lol).

Look killer!

Looked flush at first glance but check out the rear edge!

Love reading your threads Nelsonian101, one of my fave Falcons around. Wish I had the money for motorsport track racing!

Very close to the bolts on the test fit.

In theory about the same as my rear 9.5" rim (12.25mm narrower on the inside) but sitting 13mm further inside due to +35 offset.

Haven't modified plates with spacers.

With the 295 30 18 tyres, they should sit a bit flatter/stretched than the 295 on 9.5" rim above in the pics.

Looking good, why stop at 295.

Don't tempt me.

Would if I could. :)

Unfortunately, NSW State time attack regs in Clubsprint only allow for 295 max width for 2WD cars (265 for RWD).

Straight line grip with the 35 is better but the 30 is a bit better in the corners, and slightly less chance of hitting the guards.

Does lowering the profile of the tyre to 30 make you lose any grip?

Had the 295 30 18 track tyres fitted on the 18 X 10.5" +22 rims but have run into problems.

The rear camber could be adjusted to 2.5deg negative (with the aftermarket yellow arms in the pics) and the tyres even came close to tucking under guards , BUT the problem was the toe began to change far too much at that camber.

Had to back it off to 1deg negative.

My question is, is there am after market lower arm that allows tow adjustment at high neg camber?

I'm testing the rear set up at a Hillclimb circuit in Tamworth (Oakburn Park) on September 20th with the raised spring seats.

If nothing scrapes, then I'll try dropping the rear a bit lower with the stock spring seats.

(Have a lot more pics to upload, but computer says "No". Max file size 26kb)
