This would be quite appealing as I could learn to tune but still revert to my current XCAL tune if it became too hard or I had issues.Thoughts?"return to stock" with XCALStart tuning with HPTSave HPT FileLoad "return to stock" hpt fileRe-marry XCAL and load my tuned XCAL tunedrive current xcal tune to work during the weekfollowing weekend return to stock again, load my partially tuned HPT file etcrinse and repeat until my tune is driveable ? Yes.You need to consider what you need to know about your current tune, without being able to view it. Think Injector values,Spark and Spark source,Fuel and Fuel source, Cam angle etc etc at the various engine load points. Then you can use these values as starting point for your tune.Then familiarise yourself with livelink.IMHO not seeing your current tune will be an advantage down the track as it will force you to learn. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Eg if I trend the knock values with the scanner will this be sufficient to see knock and also safe if I leave the standard knock retard enabled? Just out of curiosity much better is it, can you rescale maps eg increase the resolution and change axis limits etc? This is why it would be nice to use the sct tune as they might have done this.
