On further inspection tonight whilst eating dinner and having turbo on kitchen bench....I found I could get a little bit of light to shine through the flapper valve (with it closed) , must have been too bright in the shed. Multiple problems surely = more killer wasps when rectified haha. I was mainly considering stepping up to the gtx3582 so I could simply slide it straight back in new rear housing and everything would line up good to go. After reading someone's review on here about the New gw turbo I was put off a bit- wouldn't wanna spend $3k and be unhappy with the build standard, having said that it and the mta950 both took my fancy initially until I thought about how much a new engine and gearbox would be.

If anyone seriously wants the 76 I'm taking it to the Garrett dealer tomorrow to get it checked before I sell it, but it's done about 5000km, no scoring, minimal shaft movement etc pm me can post before weekend

Yeah I already have, kinda dissapointed I didn't get to experience it's full potential, I'll miss making boost reversing and basically always having it whistling no matter how steady it's driven - it's surprising how loud they are

Surely someone near you has a 76 installed and working/tuned properly...... ask them to take you for a drive coz it will surprise you I reckon.

I don't think I will ever swap mine out for something different -- I don't think

Gtx3576 inspected its good to go! Message me if you want it otherwise it's gonna be online for sale soon.

Gtx3582 purchased and waiting for new housing to get ported- bought a proper actuator bracket and changing to a Garrett actuator, silicone joiners bought, manifold faced and ready to Up the boost
