It's entitled: "Cyber Security Researchers Use The Internet to Hack Into Car. Turn Off Engine As It Drives." I'd paste the url if I could but I can't. Google the title and you will pick it up. If cars go online to that extent, I'll look into fitting an aftermarket computer. It's a sad day when people buy their cars based upon the size of the touchscreen on the dashboard and don't give too much of a rats about vehicle dynamics!!PAH

Madness! If it's online, it can be hacked.

Hard to be avoided as technology rumbles it's way forward, largely un-regulated and un-controlled

It's the replacement for the XR6T so you've had it tuned to run on E85. It's doing the driving because you're on the way home from the Pub on a Friday night. The cops stick the breathalyser up its Zorst and book the CAR for DUI??

As mentioned ppl only care about gimmicks without a concern about security and likewise the car manufacturers aren't that keen on throwing tonnes of money into security and are so busy adding tech feature that they aren't building secure in from the ground up. Someone will die and it will probably take that or more to make governments of the public to stand up and sort this out.
