BJC, The reason there's two different colors on the input shaft is from the case hardening process during manufacture.

The outer surface (light grey ring) is made much harder which results in a stronger and wear resistant surface,

with internal core that remains softer to absorb the stresses.

Most oem axles and gears are heat treated by the same process.

My bad on the ZF tune... seems the engine gets tuned at the same time as the box... I actually thought it was a separate file. Im hating this car more and more lol

Just put a carby big block in it, 9inch, glide and be done with it.... Who needs economy and street manners eh....well not us to be fair, however it is nice how well mannered these setups are even when making silly amounts of power.

Now using the CMS Billet Input shaft and it's copping a hiding and holding up fine.

That front clutch basket has seen some chit in it's time hahaha

Now matty I know CMS have their own branded input shafts that are "billet" and nizzy have theirs..... What separates the two ? Anything CMS are doing that nizzy aren't or vice versa ?
