$6000 about right as jake had some quotes but opted just for a new input shaft . this is next step up from a standard one but not a billet shaft . just the shaft was $980 delivered from monster torque. fitting it still to find out ,we work next door to the auto shop they have a fg running 9s with the sme shaft

Doing it cheap will only cost you more in the long run.

Also depends on how hard your going to drive it.

If your going by the link Biz posted its probably best to call CMS for more details, prices will vary depending on what you want the box to handle.

If you have a look it said starting from $$$$

If and when mine sh*ts its self ill be going input shaft/clutches ect.. if its around 5 to 6k for someone else to do it I think I might have a look into whats involved with it and spend a week rebuilding it with the old man and brother's. Old mans been working on cars for the last 30+ years and has built many motors. My brother could rebuild any Expensive Daewoo motor with a blind fold on and my other brother is a aviation and diesel mechanic. If I could get all the specs of clearances and torque I think we could give it a good go and save a sh*t load of cash. Me im learning everything as I go along and having fun doing it.
