I have had both. Jonnytig and the pw stuff. Not only is the pw stuff average it has crap made cast end tanks and it weighs ten tons aswell. Once hot its hot. With my new jonnytig one it has never let me down. Cool and stays cool. Even on 34+ days doing a three hr cruise. No power loss. Also 1/3 weight of the pw to.

Love to see a test between the stepped coolers.

It would be interesting to see actual test results to see if they are as good as he says, not just hearsay, If we believe everything every manufacturer claims....... well we would be a bit silly

Buy one ratter and get your own results as I recon even if someone did a test you would still be a sceptic.....fair comment?

I believe they are around the $1400 mark with piping kit.

No cutting either, comes with radiator relocate brackets according to jet. Can't see that being a problem from a road worthy/insurance perspective which is another big plus

Wish I still had my pw stepped so I could do test on it for ya mick but I dont. Cant wait to see the results. My cold side pipe on pw kit used to get as hot as my hot side but now with my jonnytig cooler the hot side is hot and my cold side is cool. Even the top of the cooler is very cool. I have also used my xcal4 to log it while driving and it sits a fanny hair just above ambient when giving it sh*t. Get out and feel the pipe and still cool.

Karl if you are as smart as you try to portray, you would know that pulling the intercooler out and fitting a piece of pipe there would result in a pressure drop, not really hard to figure out is it?

Some coolers have less pressure drop across them but do not cool as well as another type of cooler, that's fact.

I believe lots of test results on various products, but when they are tested correctly, fairly and have data to back it up.

Remember a thought without data is just an opinion!

I'm not saying his coolers are no good, I'm just saying there is a few saying how good they are but with the data.

They may be the best thing ever! Time will tell

And why would I buy a cooler and spend my time testing it for somebody else?

I'm happy to be paid to test one, maybe Karls family's dyno shop could do it if they have enough gear to do it.

Bizkets, thanks for the info appreciate it,
