Standard Injector Performance? Upgrade Required Before Tune?

I am about to get my manual BF with large front mount and 4" dump + exhaust tuned.

I have been told that the standard injectors are good for up to 260rwkw. I have no idea how much power to expect from just these mods and a tune. I don't want to push the boost to anything that's not safe. But I also don't want the tune to be quite limited because the injectors run out of flow.

Also, hoping for a positive change in economy if anything, larger injectors I assume could send it in the other direction? And not wanting to spend the $600 or so if I don't have to.

I'm not planning on any future mods other than what's on it.

Yeh I have 1000cc injectors and can't notice a difference between them and the stock injectors fuel economy wise driving normally

Driving hard though that needle drops like mums pants on father's day.

Larger injectors correctly matched set and with correct data will give same if not better fuel economy .

I stress the word "correctly".

Most Ebay or injectors online sales companies do no t have the equipment or the know how to offer correctly enhanced, matched flowed injectors with accurate tuning data for your car. Your tuner cannot generate this data accurately enough to give you best performance, power and economy. This data is only able to be generated on specialised equipment.

My point is that if you need to change injectors , be sure you receive , correctly matched sets with correctly generated data. This will give you economy, power and performance from your set up.

Is the E85 data for your 1500cc spot on now Dave and not as lean?

OP a set of new 60lb Dekas will suffice and if tuner has a idea will get them to work as good if not better than factory.
