Maybe Don does lots of freeway/cruise stuffs?

If you're driving in situations where you're "wasting" more fuel, you'd can expect anything from 13L/100km to 25L/100km, but the range depends on how much you're thrashing it.30+L/100km is only E85 at the racetrack sorts of averages. Good to see that you figured it out If you drive quite a few tanks with your "normal routine", you'll soon track down what is specifically causing the spikes or troughs in your fuel usage

By the sounds of it theyre going to charge me to look it over saying it cant be the tune . my issue is the previous tune was running more psi and yet chewed half as much as it does since the new tune. they took out my seimens 80lb deka and put in the id1000s, cleaned my fuel system and put new inline filter and replaced a slightly crushed steel elbow. so im thinking if its the fuel rail itll be when it was reinstalled after the new injectors. I just dont get how it can consume more now running less power with "better injectors" im starting to despise the car :S Not feeling like its the pride and joy I once thought. I dont even wanna put anymore money into it, getting ready to possibly sell it

If you can smell fuel and there is no leak, tell the existing tuner to diagnose it for free (the fix may not be free, depending on the diagnosis) or get a new tuner if they won't.

Where your temp sits would suggest you have a cooler thermostat. The tune should have been adjusted accordingly though. That temp would be within the warmup cycle on a stock tune for example, which means running rich. Give it time like you say to average out before taking it backCould just throw a new std thermostat in for sh*ts and giggles? Yours could be crook even? I could be full of sh*t? It is usually hard to determine fuel economy by numbers however based on what you have said it does seem to be using too much. The engine should operate on closed loop control so it should deliver OK economy regardless. However they could have butched things that kill economy. Is it still stalling?. I assume you are using bp98 Edited 29/07/15 01:16 PM by turbotrana

You're driving a reasonable distance to your mates place?(Still think you should get some tuna in you) Edited 29/07/15 01:19 PM by FiftyOne

I just dont wanna pay again for a job that's already been done.Theres no more stalling issues anymore, when they swapped the injectors they found orange rubber everywhere .. turned out someone had put in some kind of additive or e85 and it competely ate the fuel filter and sent rubber bits through the whole system, so injectors were changed and upgraded from teh siemens deka 80lb to ID1000s and the fuel lines were all flushed and the filter replaced
