Is it normal for coolant to 'bubble' after turning of the car. Its like a bubbling sound that lasts a minute or two after turning the engine off.

I have bled the system with heater on full up to operating temp, and theres no visible coolant leaks or noticeable loss of coolant.

Another thread suggests its perfectly normal on these cars ?? I doubt that.

Anyway I guess I'll try replace the reservoir cap next....

do not forget that the engine temp will rise when turned off as there is no coolant circulating the engine

Also your turbo does a funny little thing called "thermo-siphon"

Perfectly normal

Unless you have a blown head gasket, which you can easily check by looking under your oil cap for some jizz coloured junk
