I want more sidewall (ie 18s, maybe even 17s) so I asked the modification section at Dept of Transport in Welshpool last week.As soon as I said the first thing about wheel size the guy cut me off and said, "we don't give a sh*t what wheels you run as long as the speedo is accurate." Cause on the calculators it says you must be within + or - 3%.... is that Australian LAW (cause I thought that had to do with how much your speedo would be out).Edit: maybe has something to do with brake failure? or maybe just BS?
