So I just bought a BF with aftermarket front mount, and the piping from the turbo to the intercooler is plumbed under the crossmember, meaning the clearance is not quite the legal 100mm at the moment. Is this normal, or is there options to improve this?

Thanks heaps. I can add take a picture if necessary.

Cheers.

So ideally where should it go? If I try and put it directly above the crossmember in the same spot, the radiator fan shroud seems like it's in the way a bit.

It's a b series and that's not where that pipe should go

I see your other thread Re exhaust

Sounds like the car has already been tuned with all of the hardware that's been fitted .... Unless it's hitting boost cut about 4000rpm ?

From memory it routes from the turbo up and forward over the crossmember, around the outside of the radiator and into the cooler.

According to the seller it's a Rapid 800hp kit.

Also, according to the seller, he said it hasn't been tuned. It has front mount and exhaust, nothing else.

Boost cut at 4000, I'm not sure, I've only had it 2 days, and I haven't pushed it much yet. It's possible I haven't taken it much past 4k. I will check it asap though.

If it hasnt been tuned then dont push it till it is mate. I too have the missfortune of having a rapid cooler ( that in itself explains the install- half the bits were prob missing).

I will scrounge the hard drive and see if I have any pics, pretty sure the rapid web site is gooorne so no help there unfortunatly.
