Soon to leave the XR6T family.

Put a deposit on one of these things a few days ago.

I got extremely excited about ordering one of these however Ford are basically holding out to sell them for whatever people are willing to pay. Without naming anyone, I was quoted anywhere from 3k to over 9k above what I was told is Fords "retail" price. This alone put it just out of the budget I had set myself and am now looking at a 2016 Golf R instead, which strangely enough is within budget by a fair bit. I hope those who pay what dealers are asking for the RS enjoy them and that they are every bit as good as the reviews say they are.

I find it annoying when articles online don't have a date attached.  Reading it, that one was obviously written last year.

I actually drove a mates Golf GTI the other day and was extremely impressed! Had a lot more go than I expected when I put my foot down! Thing just felt super composed, smooth and over all confidence inspiring. Comfortable, quiet and the DSG gearbox was goooooooooooooooood!
