Edit - title should be 2016 Focus RS. Mods?

TL;DR version

...multiple driver-selectable modes including launch control

...Normal, Sport and Track modes

...a Drift Mode that “allows controlled oversteer drifts”

...suspension damping (that can also be independently selected/deselected).

...allows 70 per cent of drive to be sent to the rear wheels and 100 per cent of that to either side of the car

This bit in particular is good too

...the all-wheel drive Focus RS will make a massive 440Nm between 2000rpm and 4500rpm, with 470Nm available for 15 seconds of full-throttle overboost. The accompanying 257kW will arrive just before the 6800rpm cut-out.

More power than a stock BF XR6 Turbo and just as much torque, in a car that will weigh much less! Won't be cheap I'm sure but them's the breaks. Would love a Focus RS.

Helis!!

That's a very handy torque spread for a 2l 4 banger. Just taking a shot in the dark but given the rev limit and torque I'm guessing it has a longish stroke..

Good question. Car advice had this to say

THE DOLLAR QUESTION

The local launch of the RS is at least a year away so don’t expect Ford Australia to confirm pricing for some time. However, it would be surprising if it weren’t notably cheaper than the $59,990 of the previous model.

Limited availability had its hand in that pricing, and the new RS will be sold in greater numbers and in a larger number of global markets.

Ford Australia has been competitive with the pricing of its current hot-hatches – the Fiesta ST and Focus ST – and the RS also needs to challenge the Subaru WRX STI (from $49,990) and Volkswagen Golf R (from $51,990).

50k....... May be worth a trade in. I seem to be a fan of most things with an RS badge. I think this years ST is priced at 42k??? Don't quote me on that exactly but this being the animal that it is seems actually worth 50k for a hatch I guess.
