Turbo Side Air Box

Even though it's possible to pick up extra boost, won't the ecus adjust the wastegate maps to hit the target boost over time?

if the ecu is tuned in closed loop it will make minor corrections but 2 lb is probably asking too much, my wifes was in closed loop but the correction meant that the solenoid was given 0 duty cycle and it still went 2 psi higher until the turbo was ported

my wifes G6ET picked up 2 lbs on 1 run when trying a turbo side air box

Was this comparison with a turbo side vs stock?

would need to recheck but it may have been compared to a V8 air box which already picked up power over the stock one
