Running mods of course, hence the original tune :wavey:

Was wondering what the standard amount of time is to let your car go before getting it re-tuned. Taking a wild guess, I would say you need to get your car re-tuned every 2-3 years to make sure all is good?

(Obviously if you feel something wrong before then you would get that looked at)

This is really a "how long is a piece of string" question.

Depends on the level of mods, how many KM's you do, your servicing regime and the tuners methods (ie disabling long term learned functions in the pcm)

But ball park is every couple of years.

If the tune is good enough (eg wasn't a hack job) and all your sensors are working as they should, I wouldn't think it's required

I'm pretty sure Intune customers get re-tunes weekly don't they?

Or is that engine builds?

Tish, that said , depends on the K's done. I do a lot of peak hour driving.

Drop oils very 7.5 ks max with a de-carb. Then a dyno pull to check all is tickety boo

I've historically had a re tune every 100,000km.

A tune does not change but engine condition does as well as a condition called sensor shift can occur, so it is smart to get it checked once in a while but how often, well that's that how long is a peice of string question again
