Bump - having some FG TMAP issues - seems to be temperamental when hot.

Causing the car to not start.

Anybody had issues like this ?

Could be the IAT playing up, only thing changed was the NA-MAP to TMAP, with the correct wiring changes to suit NA->T ( on BF harness to FG TMAP)

I'll check tomorrow. :)

I have had Ford E series map sensors play up a couple of times. They can even go out by a little. Had me scratching my head for a while. The insides of the e series Map sensor is pretty delicate.

I would suspect that newer map sensors are much the same. If you suspect it just buy another one and replace it. Sometimes parts replacement is easiest to get to the bottom of a problem.

BTW I responded to the original post.

Tocchi, seems like if you have done a conversion maybe not sensor fault.

Yeah turbotrana, I'm picking up an elm this week and see what codes are being thrown / able to be cleared... Luke believes it's an ETC fault, but the obd2 reader will tell us, and then we can implement a solution, either by BF hardware or VCM parameters (Luke's the master here :) )
