Keen to see how this build is continuing? Any updates?

Waiting to see when you have it finished and take it out and scare the pants off yourself. It'll put a smile on your face and you certainly wont have those same thoughts that 'turbo's are so laggy and unresponsive'. And day's later all your old school mates will be doing the same. Be excited for this mate, it'll all be worth it when it's done :)

Car got a stage 2 box built along with a truetrac and a bit of a tune...64/66 needs a minimum 2700 stall and that's just to be an everydayer. Still has a very unresponsive feel. Car gets up and goes but theres nothing really fun/tough about it. Sounds like a hair dryer on steroids bucket of s$#% getting out of the hole healthy NA in an old school lighter car any day for me. Each to their own I suppose.

I think something might be a miss as the 6466 doesn't need that much stall at all....it has gone 1.4 60ft with the stock ZF converter in the FG F6.

These setup/tuned right will spool quicker than the baby FG turbo even with the converter not fully at its stall mark mines well into the 20psi range on 98 octane.

Yes I have a very large stall but that's no reflection on the turbos needs more to do with what converter I had bought to match a different less efficient turbo...I just kept the stall high to see what the 6466 would be like and fark me lol.

Im actually pulling my engine out again today and maybe up the comp.. Cars ok once your going its just really disappointing out of the hole.

ZF isn't able to be transbraked and no fibs here just numbers mate.

If the 6466 is laggy you have another issue.

ZF can be trans braked (I have the wiring diagram to do it) but now real benefit to do so with out IRS sedans.... Might be good to try in the utes but.....

I can definitely understand as it's a heavy car mate, but as the other gents have said, the car should be in no way laggy or unresponsive. after being in a heap of these cars, with GT/X 3576/82R/s and precision turbo's, I'm yet to feel one that id associate with the word unresponsive. I work for a massive European dealership in Perth and I'm yet to feel a car more responsive as these falcons with a bit of power in them (there's plenty that are similar, but nothing that's been better). About the only cars I haven't been behind the wheel of are ferrari's and lambo's. It just seems as though maybe there is an issue somewhere as it doesn't sound normal.
