That's it! SK20R7. Cheers Arron. Couldn't find any pics in my car folder except once they were out of the packet.

Edit...last changed them in August 2012, that's 100,000km ago. Should probably buy a new set myself...

Further info, this is the "pack" that I bought in 2012 and the VDO coils are still going fine. People were unsure of them at the time.

Have only ordered the new Motorcraft SK20R7 plugs though for now. Easy and cheap preventative maintenance.

Thanks to all for replying to my 'How long is a piece of string..' question on tuning intervals. Got a better idea on the subject now..

Just to be annoying to the regulars, one more question that is very open..

When getting tuned, obviously one is for Maximum power, what do people do with the other two tunes you can get :

I do like the idea of a 'concierge' tune for guests or family, limited to 3000rpm etc.. as has been mentioned to me.

Throw your thoughts at me or what you chose to do..

I went a 95 Ron tune - just in case I'm in the middle of nowhere and there's no premium 98 fuel available

(am on LPG - actually have about 10 tunes in the box_

I run 3 tunes

400 with a slow rising boost

360 with a quick hit of boost

Valet tune (in case the car has to be left somewhere for service)

All on 98

Just to give you something else to think of --- think about a trans tune....... talk to your tuner

Thanks for that extra thought of trans tune.. I'll tune car, get used to it, figure out exactly what I do and don't like about the changes and then tune trans..

Max Power tune, 99.999999% use this

95 Tune, for extra long distance driving up the coast where there's a lack of 98. Used once.

Valet tune 3000RPM limit. Never used.

3/ Max power 100% wouldn't know whether the others even work

car will never be returned to stock even when sold
