So how do people make ba/bf brembos fit on fg?

I thought you just take off brackets and flipped it around or something?

Ap racing your looking at like 5k for their 4/4 setup and 6500 for their 6/4, these are couple year old prices too! Replacement rotors are more expensive too altho they are 362mm so better stopping power. Fit under less wheels though!

Then there's shockworks 4pot mono blocks (they're still working on the rears though). I think 1800-2000 for rotor caliper and pads, replacement rotors aren't cheap though at 900 or 1100-1200 for the two piece, but they supply the Korean v8supercar series so they should do the job.

The above probably not useful for OP but for discussion on further brake options. I researched this a bit myself last year before going a brembo 6/1 setup with rear territory caliper, with track work in mind.

Fitting BA/BF six piston Brembo calipers to FG: According to Matt at Race Brakes Sydney, the brackets swap over, but the crossover pipes don't. Hence, new crossover pipes need to be made by a brake place.

With the four piston calipers, both the brackets and crossover pipes swap over easily.

Would it be acceptable to go with a 6 pot upgrade on the front and leave the standard xr6 turbo caliper on the rear?

Will this throw anything out of balance or be in any way a generally bad idea?

Yep, that'll work fine.

If you're keen then grab some 328mm rear brakes as well. Besides being a larger diameter (328m vs 303mm) they are also vented instead of the solid smaller discs.

when you say the brackets swap over for the 4 pots, do you mean you use the BA/BF brackets on the FG? or you have to source FG brackets?
