Car Didn't Take Much Oil On Change

Drained the excess oil that was in the sump and whilst I was under I completely understand now, the sump plug is more in the middle than the back of the motor so makes sense why some oil was still left behind.

Also noticed the oil was quite dark for only being 1000kms old. Now that it's no longer a daily it has a much harder life

Those pumps are awesome

I used them all the time when the bloke I did some work for years ago realised that ski boats with inboard motors used car engines and started booking them in as well.

So much easier than taking out the transom drain plugs, removing the sump plug and letting the oil run out the back of the boat and having to degrease the hull afterwards
