Hi all,

I am a happy owner of a Nitro Blue 11 XR6T with 26k on the clock and in immaculate condition.

I am curious on any modifications I should be making to the vehicle now as a preventative for future problems, ie Transmission warmer upgrade to the PWR, remote turbo filter.

I am interested in these style mods before I start chasing power to ensure the engine and drivetrain are kept in tip top condition.

Thankyou for your time and look forward to hearing back from you soon

Kind Regards

Dan

I've had my turbo manifold and dump pipe ceramic coated to help keep engine bay temps down slightly.

definitely remove the factory inline turbo filter.

consider a catch can on the PCV -> inlet manifold hose.

Thanks for all the replies guys,

I have ordered an intune motorsports turbo filter for piece of mind.

I want to do a complete fluid flush throughout so I will start that process over the coming days.

So get big now and be done with it hey.

Thanks again guys

Kind Regards

Dan

K&N air filter is good but the stock one is fine if you want to replace it every time you service it. K&N you can just clean and oil again.

Turbo oil feed line is a good replacement item. Earls line is a good brand and you can clean the filter screen each service.

A pwr transmission cooler is a great item for piece of mind because the stock one has been know to fail which will cost you around the 4k mark to get it rebuilt.

If your planning on modding the car try and stick to best known brands that's are recommended buy many tuners and fourm members for quality and performance.

Happy spending and enjoy the ride. :D
