I agree it takes ages! I do a lot of ally tig and stainless pipe at work

I'd love to make my own turbo side, but after doing it at work all day I lose all motivation

One day I'll get around to it

Dont waste ya money buying one just make one. If your keen on saving coin and would be alot happy with something you have made your self. If I could glue metal together as professionally as jon does I would have had a go. Never seen anyone weld that clean. Its not a trade its art what he does.

Have ago wilko you might make some coin on the side after work. ;)

Wilko turbo side.

Thanks for the message bizkets. I can't reply so I'll paste it here:

I'm seeing Simon tomorrow so I'll see what he reckons. I'm happy with the power I've got now, particularly the torque. I think a clutch will be my next expense and then I'll see about the cooler for when I decide to push over the 400 mark.

It gets crazy hot in Adelaide, especially where I am so the better cooler might be worth it.

I measured mine, with just the X4 controller - 18 degree ambient and my intake temp was 24degree when cruising at 110kmh in 6th and climbed to 32 degrees under heavy (full) 4th gear acceleration but quickly dropped back to 24.

If yours is only a few degrees over ambient - I'd say it's worth it.

Did you say he's not making any more?

No just the turbo side. He still makes the coolers. You can have a chat to simon. The guy the makes the coolers name its jon baily. (White g6e turbo). If your interested have a chat with jon. Home - JonnyTig

http://jonnytig.com/ send him a email and im sure he will get back to you. Many years in the business and a very knowledgeable bloke. A top bloke he really helped me out with many things with the car.

Also installed (Bendocos) turbo in 4hrs with no hoist. Even with don having many questions and a boner. Lol

Also mine was live logging with xcal4
