if you want to use it on your car a suction cup will do fine. just ensure its clean and relatively flat when you mount it. ive had it on the track at 100km/h+ with no drama of it coming off. windscreen is one of the best places you can mount it to.

does a good time laps as well

Sorry, I meant the settings on the camera - wide angle, spot meter, pro drive etc

Even after reading the manual etc I usually stuff things like those up and get lost in the spaghetti of on screen menu's

I bought a heap of mounts from this place Rab

http://aud.dx.com/search/gopro%20mounts

When it comes to settings, if you're gunna post to youtube - record video in 1080 coz it's quicker to upload and seriously, how many people have a uhd tv/monitor to watch it on?? A small percentage around the world....that's how many

If your just putting stuff on your fancy monitor then wind the resolution all the way up.

Don't know if GP4 has 'Fisheye' but if it has, I would turn it off for video. Great for stills (see the ones Rob took of mine and Brads car in the sa thread) but makes video look weird imho

Download the GP Studio software to your computer (Video making software)

http://shop.gopro.com/APAC/softwareandapp/gopro-studio/GoPro-Studio.html

and get Aiden to learn how to edit together some awesone videos.......he'll love it I reckon

Or you could do what I did and ..--borrow--.. the Sony editor.....lol

Will work out a shopping list before I look on that site again - will end up with a container load otherwise ;)

Are we forgetting a certain rapid U turn on the way back from Pemberton to collect a certain something before the two semis we'd overtaken trundled up the hill and crushed it? hahaha
