C4 conversion I just had done was already an auto.

Had to tell the cars ECU it was a manual cause the new C4 is full man. so the engine cut out at 2500 rpm.( completely irrelevant info. lol)

Tuned the car again for 2 reasons:

1. more fuel needed in certain areas

2. make sure Speedometer corresponds to tyre speed.

Had the G. box installed, then 4" exhaust fitted and then tuned only for the lousy 12 psi actuator to fail, external wst. gate getting fitted now.

Doing 110km on the hy way sitting on about 3000rpm in 3rd !

Converter kicks in at 3500......................Hang on and keep it straight !!!!!!!

ordered my BTR auto of Dominello , I also asked him about the c4 . his reply was the standard c4 is no stronger than a BTR unless you fit all new billet parts to it (cost to build box only with custom converter $6500 ) so then a new tail shaft ,shifter and crossmembere will be needed . all up about $10,000

That's what I paid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for 700 neddies

INA week

Definitely use it mate.

See if you can get the cooler lines plumbed into the radiator like Ford does.

Otherwise you'll cook when the car is stopped.

I got a new radiator put in before hand.

Gunna you'll have good fuel economy !

The good thing about the BTR box in "drive" when you mash the gas you don't know which way you'll be facing LOL

Built C4 is still not a desired box behind the torque these engines make

Many have been there done that and it always ends up a TH400 or glide to handle drag racing power

Depends what Torque your got.

Nothing will last if your got 2000NM+

I'm sure my peasly 330 atw won't bother my box built for 700hp.

The trick is to over engineer your car so it can last at least till next week.

What cogs are you running ?
