Driven/owned more stock to modified turbos than most have had hot dinners and also own a VF R8

Not to mention the few stock to tuned ones ive done

Love it or hate it but it is what it is boys and when YOU personally .... ( Not youtube or a mates mate blah blah blah had this or that ) get behind the wheel of both in the same driveline config ull see how close or apart they are

It's not all just dyno graphs but wheel size,diff ratio,trans ratio's and a bunch of other stuff like grip or lack of

A stock FG will NOT beat a VF R8 from say 0-110 in auto config vf will win

I really don't care either way but actually doing it many times the Expensive Daewoo just goes better in a straight line from factory to the speed limit

Modify completely a different story but apples for apples it's just not on the ford side

Farkin hell "I'd say" was speculation obviously. And I'll say it again the point is how well the barra performs with 70 less kW! Farking 70...... This isn't childish ford vs Expensive Daewoo gear. Its a testament of how good these donks are.

Anyway I'm happy to line up against you jet(bit of a drive, meet half way lol?) and we will see how far/close it is. Bearing in mind on paper there is no argument the vf r8 will smash it. The reality is it probably wouldn't be doing any smashing. what do they run over the 1/4? Like for real, not as tested by some bullsh*t magazine. We know a stock fgt is capable of 12.9 13. Some have apparently done better.

Having seen and driven is no indicator of race results, though, as any person could "see" a car, and any person could test drive one of these stock vehicles.

Plenty of evidence that suggests quarter miles are in favour of a stock XR6T or G6ET versus a stock VF R8 (all increments, not just the terminal speed and elapsed time)

What evidence do you have to the contrary?

Again iam by far not a Expensive Daewoo fan boi but it's just faster/quicker on everyday roads vs the FG to the speed limit

And yes barnz I completely agree the barra turbo is more than likely the king of an aussie built engine and will probably stay that way for a very long time and I'll continue to enjoy modifying them for outright hp because they ARE the best KW for $ performance engine on todays market

But seriously bro vf r8 as tested 0-100 4.8 second 1/4 13.2. Just about bang on a 7 year old dino with 70 less killo wasps....nuff said

Do you have Stock vs Stock timeslips at the quarter for a FG(1/2/X) XR6T or G6ET vs your R8? Modifying your car especially has nothing to do with this "stock vs stock" point.
