I hate the fact that the "sedan based" utes are going the way of the dinosaur. Once the Falc and Commy are gone, the only options are the Thai made diesel sh*tboxes. I've owned nearly all of them and they are good cars / trucks - reliable, economical etc, but f*cking boring things to drive.

Unless they grow a set and make a sportier version of, maybe a Ford Ranger with a miami V8? LS2 Colorado. I don't like my chances, but I can dream....

This.

I don't need 4WD or high ground clearance.

I need something where I can step up from the ground to the tray as I push a motorbike up the ramp and into the tray.

It's a city car, driven on bitumen roads. I don't need off-road capability.

And I don't need massively priced parts - 4WD tyres and other maintenance costs.

How is it that we are the only country that makes use of a sedan-style ute?

Yeah seriously I think the 275 rear tyres are a must.

Lol, drag an 8yo donk off the shelf, boom. I guess that was always the ace up their sleve but seriously it needs 6/4 brembos and something better than the old "r spec" suspension or its still going to get owned by the 304kw ss on a circuit. Will still eat it at the strip no doubt but...

So it's definitely not all XR6Ts' that will get the 310KW motor?...it will be just the sprint models?

They should just drop the FPV motor in all the series 2 FGX Turbos...and just sell them with the upgraded Brembo 4 POTs...

Is there any word on what the Police services will use post XR and SS?...(there was that article about the Mustang...)

Instead of aggressive high-speed pursuits, in the future police will sneak up on you with a quiet Toyota Hybrid.

OK guys, don't tell anyone, but I have it on good authority, these new sprints...

They will all have cop chips added.

As standard!

(*shock*)
