Notably, the interior and ride sh*t all over the Falcon. The ZF as we all know is a magic gearbox, but the new A6 in the VF range is as good IMO - the rev matching on downshift in sports mode is addictively good and it's miles ahead of the VE auto. I had a 2012 SS ute and the auto was "OK".No more new performance utes really after next year, so whatever I get next may have to hang around for a while instead of my usual 12 - 18 months changeover. Gearboxes definitely drive and feel better, but I meant a little more on the power side. When you put some solid power in them do they really work well? boost69 Donating Members 737 Member For: 19y 7m 3d Posted 24/09/15 01:50 AM Share Posted 24/09/15 01:50 AM Yeah the R8 II with the supercharged LSA engine would definitely be a nice car to drive...I have driven quite a few rental SV6 VFs and as far technology and refinement goes, they are a really nice car...If I can compare the SV6 to the XR rental cars I have driven...the SV6 seems zippier down low, but doesn't feel as torquey as the XR on the HWY...The Late model camira is a much nicer car to drive, as you feel like you're in a very up to date car...while the Falcon feels like it's a generation behind...If the Late model camira V6 ever came out with a twin turbo motor, I dare say it would have had the same cult following as the XR6T...
