My phone is being a karnt and will not let me fully search the fourm for a thread.

Just want to know how often a fuel filter should be changed on a modded car. Car only runs bp98 and it has been on maybe 25-30k. Any tips for removing the old one and what would be the best filter to put on. Stock ford one, after market one?

Cheers

KPM one is north of 200 dorrah.

Pretty sure its a 19mm and a 14mm spanner from memory.

When on E85 and using the stock lines I used the Cooper filter and held up for 10k no worries(glue not sh*tting itself).

Cant go wrong with a genuine one though Id imagine :)

Goleby's have a direct fit E85 rated filter that has a removable cleanable core. Looks like a good bit of gear and was $100 delivered.

Hopefully Ralph will correct me if im wrong....but a while back I think he said something like every oil change if running e85 (cleaning an afternarket filter that is)...then once per year if using OEM (which I assume means every 20,000kms) for stock on 98?

So maybe every 2nd oil change for you Bizkarnt?

But this is only speculating :P

I looked into the golebys one, only 40 micron filtration. The 40micron kpm one is $225 and $245 for the 10 micron kpm filter.Ive been told we want a minimum of 10 micron filtration.Still the golebys filter looks identical to the kpm filters,
